We were all very sad to leave our little jungle hideaway and all the staff came out to wave us goodbye (all 5 of them!) and have their pictures taken. Despite all protesting that they were too old to have photos, they were still very keen to see the results on the camera screen.
And off we went - back on the road. The first part of the journey was clinging to the side of the mountain again, but it wasn't quite as bad in daylight after a good rest, so as long as you didn't think too hard about the drop, the views were quite spectacular. Then a relatively short hop (less than 2 hrs seems like a quick trip round the block here) to the Corbett National Park, stopping en route at a rather bizarre old 'museum' which mainly consisted of stuffed tigers and leopards and an accompanying notice explaining their cause of death. Then on to our 'lodge' which in fact turned out to be a 5* cottage village - seriously luxurious accommodation and a rather splendid pool. The girls swam in the pool after lunch and then we went for a nature walk along the river to the obligatory temple. We followed that with a real treat - a couple of hours in front of the TV because a Harry Potter film was on - and it gave me time to write this - how great!!!
Not much to report really today - how interesting can the details of us being treated to a bit of luxury be???? But it really has been a lovely rest.
Oh - just one more thing.
I really need to give a special mention to the amazing photography you can see. Ellie has been our official photographer and has taken 95% of the photos on our trip. My camera has become her 'must have' accessory for every outfit. Isn't she brilliant??!!

Stunt jumping in swimming pool reminiscent of The Beatles HELP logo. Spot the gymnast (PERFECT splits Flo)!!! Billy rightly envious of all.
